| BETH JATCKO landscaping
Here are some pics showing how our side yard has progressed between the spring of 2005 and the fall of 2007. Thank you Greisedieck Landscaping!
Spring 2005, the new dry creek is marked off. A recent rain shows how water natually settles in this area.
Fall 2005, the dry creek is in place with new plantings. The rock has not yet been delivered.
Spring of 2006, looking pretty happy after a spring rain.
Winter, 2006, anybody who lives in St. Louis will remember this ice storm. We were out of power for three days and still fared pretty well compared to others. Notice the red Dogwood Bush sticks - they were so pretty against the snow.
Spring 2006, this blurry photo shows some bulbs coming up.
Fall 2007, the dogwood bushes are really filling in.
Going back to the Spring of 2005 , here's another angle...nice water hazard.
Spring 2006, notice our tiny new Red Oak in the foreground. Someday it will provide shade for the house.
Spring 2007, the Japanise Iris I planted last summer are happily blooming. They like their feet wet, so are doing very well lining the creek bed.
Summer 2007, green, green, green. Look how our little Red Oak in the foreground has grown...
Fall 2007 -- We added the pots to create more of an entrance to the side garden.
