| BETH JATCKO print design
My first position out of college was to manage a graphics shop on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. There I worked with students to set up production art for publications, got competitive bids on print work, did press checks, and managed quality control. I also worked with the curator of the art gallery on campus to set up and print their marketing materials.
While working for the St. Louis Science Center, I managed an employee whose job was to design and produce all of the internal marketing collateral for the organization, manage the budget, and attend press checks. My hand was in approvals and I also did some of the overflow work. During this time period, I also did freelance work in the print world, mostly having to do with corporate identity programs.
More recently my concentration has been in Web work. I'm including my print background so that folks understand the full history behind my graphic design experience.
