BETH JATCKO interior design
My experience as an environmental graphic designer, my strong sense of 3-D design such as float design and mixed-media sculpture, and a love for architecture and furniture combine for a skill set that's well-suited for interior design.
Our city home was featured in St. Louis Magazine for its strong combination of form and function. Since then we moved and are in the process of perfecting the style of an open floor plan style home. You can view some before and after pics here.
Furniture design is also one of my passions. I have a strong appreciation for the field and have dabbled at my own attempts such as the lamp in the image on the left. I designed and built a pair of these lamps in 1992, and last year designed a table for our kitchen. Hey, when I said 'dabble', I mean it. You can view pics of the table here.
I have assisted friends and clients with making interior design decisions for their businesses, including The Temple in Alton, IL and Stone Development, a rehab company. If you're looking for some help in picking out colors, materials, or furniture, or if you are staging a home to put on the market, I'll do the work and won't charge much because I love it.
